章 353: The lost howl - II

Fang stared at Rosalia, his eyes burning with disbelief and anger. Her words felt like a death sentence, and he wasn't ready to accept it. Not yet. Not with Selene lying limp in his arms.

She wasn't dead yet. He could not bear to have her wake up half-dead. 

Rosalia stepped forward cautiously, sensing the storm brewing inside him. She gently reached out, touching his maimed arm. Slowly, the flesh knitted back together, and Fang's hand regrew as if it had never been severed. Rosalia now had powers beyond herself, "This is a forbidden spell please keep it to yourself." Even as a high priestess, she wasn't allowed to use some spells. One that messed with life and death. However, her heart was hurting too. 

She was feeling guilty for taking stronger actions beforehand when she had the chance. She was too intent on her duties to the throne than to help the real Alpha get her place back.
