Another day passed by in the Enchanted Forest and Fang knew they were close enough. The sound of the forest was laced with the distant occasional sound of people. It was very occasional, but sure. Selene had missed it the three times Fang had heard it but he did not blame her. The sounds were more of a signal being passed around, which he only knew because he was a minister. At least they had reached the city of outcasts is what he assumed. 

The forest around Selene and Fang was alive with the soft rustle of leaves and the distant calls of nocturnal creatures. The air was cool and crisp, carrying the earthy scent of damp soil and pine. The sky was now turning darker from the previously painted hues of pink and orange, filtered the fading light into a soft, golden glow.
