章 45: Chapter 39 - Sacrifice - Part 1

(Do you remember the first thing you saw after birth?)

(Mine? I saw men and women being killed in search of food. When they were full, they fought against those whom they came across. When they defeated their enemy, they fought against each other.)

(Being killed, starved, beaten, raped, tortured, burned, and eaten, they came up with many ways of killing and devouring. Becoming more sophisticated with every century.)

(I grew up watching the souls of those who are evil, devouring their evil to grow, feed on it.)

(By nature, I was to eat all that exists, all that has been corrupted, and give new life to the Universe. Only…I was awakened before my time. Before I could eat them all.)

(Now…I am hungry.)

Kuoh City, A Certain Penthouse,

"Shit," Jay sat up on the bed. He could tell his body was sticky from sweat, and this wasn't from sex.

"Jay?" Tsunade opened her eyes. As a ninja, she was sensitive to the slightest movements, so they were careful to make minimum movement even when they woke up. But this was the first time in their marriage that she felt him wave up so abruptly.

"What is it?"

"I had a nightmare," Jay held his head.

"About what?"

"No…Tsunade. I don't have nightmares…I don't dream," Jay narrowed his scarlet eyes, "This feeling…I know it's a Fragment…another one came to life…but it didn't become a part of me. I dreamt of it."

Tsunade raised her eyebrows, rubbing her eyes, "I am confused…."

"He woke up. Ahead of time," Jay shut his eyes, "Kaal. He wasn't supposed to wake up until a decade later."

When Decimo returned to the past, he carried memories of the future, the failed event, which meant the final battle they had. He knew of the last Fragment, one that swallowed two more. Though he wasn't supposed to wake up so soon, "The only reason we won the last fight…well…things might not be the same now."

He focused for a moment before plopping back down on the bed, "Oh well, it doesn't matter."

"You said something very serious right now. What do you mean it doesn't matter?" Tsunade held her head, "Who is Kaal?"

Jay watched his wife, her messy clothes, her boob about to come out of her robe, her slightly visible nipple, and her abdomen flat, "Let's freshen up, and I'll tell you."

"Oh, come on! Jay!"

Town Hall, Mayor's Office,

"Let me get this straight. Rias, you want to transfer your authority as the King to Decimo? We can always get him a Set."

"I want to be his Queen," Rias took Decimo's hand, glancing towards him, only to find that his vibrant green eyes were on her.

"Uh, ok," Azazel scratched his head, looking at the others in the room, "What do you guys think?"

Tobirama looked at them before looking at the fifth person, "Seventh?"

"Um…this is from your side. How would you handle it," Naruto looked at Michael and Sirzechs.

Michael looked over to Sirzechs, "She is your little sister."

"I understand…our lives will be here the most times, but things will change vastly on the Second Floor. Even if you hide, you can't hide this from the Great King Faction. It will be cause for concern if a Pure Blooded Demon becomes the member of a Reincarnation," Sirzechs said, shaking his head, "Can you wait for a little longer? We have come to an agreement and a few projects. If any of them succeeds, it would be easier to restrain Great King Faction."

"About that, Big Brother," Rias looked at Decimo, placing her palm over his coat, and pulled it off him, dropping to the ground. Her lips brushed over his shoulder, and she felt the temptation but barely resisted.

"Rias, maybe don't do that here," Azazel muttered, looking at her. The Mayor's office wasn't for one person. Tobirama Senju, Naruto Uzumaki, Sirzechs Lucifer, Michael the Archangel, him, and Kisuke Urahara (currently dozing off) were the Six Mayors and the Deciding Committee. They gave a spot to Odin, but he rarely came. He said he was too old for this and would have fun.

There was more than enough space for them to sit, and it was less of an office and more of a lounge pad. There was a jukebox, arcade games, a minibar, a mountain of instant ramen, and a comfortable couch that Kisuke was sleeping on.

"It's not that," Rias sharply said, watching Decimo turn, and the tattoo on his back was visible to them. She rested her head on his shoulder, whispering, "Show them?"

Decimo looked into her eyes as a smile formed on his lips. He flexed the muscles on his back, and massive wings came out.

Rias closed her eyes, feeling the tip of the wing brush her cheek. She opened her eyes, looking at the pair of crimson wings, curved in the middle, to the point when he kept them down, they crossed over his arm, touching her cheek, but when he opened them entirely, they reached the roof, hiding everyone from her sight.

He gently flapped them, closing them, and she could finally see the stunned look on her Big Brother's, Archangel Michael and Azazel-Sensei's faces.

She nodded at them, "The Evil Piece inside him broke…and it turned him into a Pure-Blood Devil."

"It did what?!" Azazel shouted his feelings out loud.

And so, that incident led to the next one. They waited until Sirzecks returned, having called in on an expert, who started checking Decimo.

"She's right. He is a Pure-Blood Devil. Not just that…it might be richer…purer because these Sacred Gears seem to be affecting his blood," Ajuka Beelzebub rotated the monocle on his eye, studying the blood.

"Heh, I am not an expert on Devil Blood, but…boy, why does your blood has traces of Hollows?"

"Because…I was a Hollow," Decimo tilted his head, "You have met me before. I saved Aizen when Zero Squad decided to interfere since they couldn't risk more chaos."

"It's you," Kisuke narrowed his eyes thoughtfully, "How did you become human? That is how your evolution followed, right? Hollow—Human—Half-Devil—Pure Blood Devil?"

"Yes. I sacrificed my powers as the Hollow by using Magic from this World to create a Ritual. Which, in turn, turned me into a human."

"Hmmm, you might be one of the most interesting creatures I have seen."

"That's an understatement," Ajuka rubbed his chin, watching the blood, "His DNA is so complicated. Kid, what happened?"

Decimo looked over from the couch, "from what I know. There were the fragments of my Hollow Powers, and then there was Rias's Chess Piece. Other than them were my two Sacred Gear. They are what from my body and blood."

"Sacred Gear forming body and blood," Ajuka muttered, "Well, one thing is clear. It wasn't the power of the chess piece that granted him this new bloodline. It was something else, and it didn't just destroy his Evil Piece but Sacred Gears too. But what could…do it…?"

"Frankly, that sounds like the Hogyoku to me," Decimo said, turning his attention back to Rias, whom he was kissing. He kneaded her ass, kissing her, and even though the Mayors saw it, they didn't stop it.

"Hogyoku," Kisuke shook his head, "Even if Hogyoku is strong…it shouldn't have such reach. Unless we have a Hogyoku here…but we don't."

"Don't we," Naruto scratched his cheek, "Weren't Dungeon Core supposed to be made from this Hogyoku?"

"Even if so…they don't fulfil wishes at the rate which Hogyoku does. If they did, then it wouldn't be one case. Unless," Kisuke's lips twitched, and Ajuka had a similar expression on his face.

He sighed, "Unless he managed to come across a one in trillionth chance."

"That's some luck," Kisuke sighed, "Then again, it's good news. If there is a trillionth chance now, then on a higher floor, when these Dungeon Cores become more powerful, the chance will come into billionth, and in a million on the third floor, then thousand, hundred, ten, one."

He raised his eyebrows, "This ship is a gigantic wish-fulfilling machine."

Decimo and Rias stopped kissing when they heard that, and Rias looked up, "You can't be serious."

"So that's how it works," Ajuka narrowed his eyes, "On the power of Miracle. One power that is surely in the other Universe. Maybe that connects one Universe to another, allowing this ship to navigate. But then again, all that is as big if."

"Hm," Decimo watched Ajuka with an invisible smile on his lips that always seemed to be there recently, alongside the calm look in his green eyes, "This doesn't have anything to do with the decision about the set. Right?"

"Well, yeah, right," Ajuka nodded, reluctantly part of the topic. Especially since Kisuke didn't have those qualms, he was enjoying his time with the theory, delving deeper into the theory, and looking for other possibilities.

"This changes things," Ajuka furrowed his brows, "We don't know how they will react to this news. Reincarnated Devils becoming Pure-Blood Devils should be a happy occasion…even if the chance of that happening is low."

"But we don't know how the Great King Faction will react, right," Sirzechs sighed, "But otherwise, we are set. At least they won't be able to protest based on their criteria. They might go for you are not Pure-Blood even if you now became Pure-Blood grounds, but otherwise, they have nothing."

"He's not Pure-Blood even if he is now Pure-Blood," Naruto scratched his head, "What is that supposed to mean?"

"He's not a Natural-Born, but an Artificial One," Tobirama shot a look at Naruto, wanting him not to ask silly questions, "They could argue because Artificial Ones are nothing but a cheap copy."

"It's complicated," Naruto sighed, looking at Sirzechs, "Must be hard managing a place like that."

"I have help," Sirzechs chuckled, "Well, now that that's settled. Let's get you a Set."

"Now, can we? I thought you needed to go to a Monument?"

"Yes. Since it was such a necessary thing, we made a replica here," Ajuka nodded, "Come. I'll show you."

章 46: Chapter 39 - Sacrifice - Part 2

Noches,

"Did you find it?"

"Not yet," A man with white hair said, wearing a mask, looking at Jigen, who was drinking wine.

"Their hideout is the only one out of sight, and then there is Hell," Jigen narrowed his eyes, "There are a few in Hell we can recruit."

"That's an understatement," Aizen walked in on them, with Euclid beside him.

Jigen watched Euclid, but from the look on his face, he didn't see any signs that this guy heard them talking.

"Why did you awaken that creature," Kashin Koji watched Aizen, "He already took one out without a single care in the world."

"His wounds are not healing. Even the holes around his eyes are there," Euclid updated them with the current situation, "We tried everything."

"He's revived Rizevim. He could return the eyes," Aizen lightly said.

"I have closed him in a room, but he's… losing it," Euclid sighed, "He's not fit to be a leader anymore."

"Hey, you," Kashin Koji moved, stopping their chat and looking at Aizen, "Why awaken him?"

Aizen watched him back, carrying a smile on his lips. He was interested in these machines, in Amado's research, since these things were stronger than he was. Among the three-party, his side was still growing; they were in the Middle of their Evolution, so it was the weakest. Rizevim's—Now, Euclid's side was above them—barely. It didn't help that they had reached the end of their Evolution. Lastly, the Kara Organization were the strongest.

But each of them had its weakness, which made it easier to control "Hm."

His immense spiritual pressure shot forth, and while Koji was able to counter it with Chakra, another form of energy, it couldn't counter it completely since what Spiritual Pressure affected was the soul. And Koji fell to his knees, feeling this immense pressure on his soul, which seemed like it would break apart. He glared back at Aizen, who smiled, "Ask again."

Jigen watched it before looking back at Aizen. He had Amado researching the Souls and Soul Pressure that these beings used, and once he could counter it, they wouldn't need to go through this alliance. His vessel was too weak; he wouldn't need this research if he had a new vessel. However, others didn't have such a problem. If necessary, he could order Amado to remove Code's limiter and have them take care of it.

But Aizen's research capabilities and promise to create a vessel that could contain the strength of these Three New Worlds moved him. He was interested in that, and Amado researched the same by himself. For now, this man was necessary.

"He's right. Why did you? Don't tell me you didn't know what kind of strength that creature would possess."

"I knew. I also know what kind of strength Kurosaki Ichigo Possesses."

"What kind?" Euclid leaned back on the chair, crossing his hand.

"Jun Kurosaki, his twin brother, helped him Master the Four Powers inside him. His Shinigami, Quincy, Fullbring and Hollow Powers. The two of them were of miraculous birth, hybrids born by nature. I thought, if anyone could transcend the limits, then it would be them."

"The limit of Shinigami?" Koji stood up now that the pressure wasn't on him, asking again.

"I," Aizen said as he only stated the facts, "I am the Limit of Shinigami. If he has surpassed them, then he is strongest than me by much. Let alone, he has awakened a Fullbring and Mastered a Level of Quincy Powers. And if he has transcended on that front too. You can't beat him."

"Your soul will be crushed before you can even make a move."

"Otsutsuki evolve as a whole. Our Souls are strongest than you think," Jigen narrowed his eyes.

"Yes, but then again. What about others in your organisation?"

"You think that creature could help us?" Euclid shook his head, "That creature will not help anyone. He's a beast…worse, an intelligent one."

Aizen stood up, pulling the chair away, "Why don't I go talk to him and see if he could or not."

"You want him to be our new leader or something," Koji glared at Aizen.

"No. The only thing he wants…is to satisfy his hunger and kill two of our enemies. Once he has done that, he will leave," Aizen walked off without looking over his shoulder, but his senses were on them, observing them. He entered the depths of his Palace, opening the massive doors to open the door and stepping inside.

The room's walls were covered in bright, dark colours, a mash of many together, and the floors were covered in paintings. He floated in the air to avoid stepping on them, looking at the two people he drew, 'Jay…Decimo.'

He would have liked it if these pictures entirely depicted what they were doing, 'Kisuke…and those others. I see; they are the ruling party on that side. And that Monument….'

He looked over to the King's Pieces, going from Rias to Decimo in one painting, 'Oh, that's a change.'

He looked among the others, trying to find one until he saw one with Decimo's scarlet wings, 'Does that mean…?'

"You lied to them."

"Yes, I did," Aizen looked away from paintings to Kaal, this time dressed in jeans, a half-sleeved white t-shirt over a white and black, horizontal striped full-sleeved t-shirt. He wore a red jacket over them and a cap on his head, painting on the floor.

"Then why did you awaken me?"

"Someone like you must already know the answer to that question, right?"

He didn't get any answer. Instead, black liquid started appearing from the ground underneath, covering the paintings, hiding them from his sight. He raised his eyebrows, lightly saying, "I wanted to see it—a God. I have seen Gods…those from the worlds of Dragons, who share the name with Gods in the Mythologies, them, and the Dragons. I have seen Gods from the Ninja's side, the Otsutsuki's. I have seen Kurosaki Ichigo. He could be said to be a God in my World. What I wanted to see…

what a True God."

Kaal looked over, and Aizen saw it, his eyes that were sewn shut, and the boy said in a raspy voice, "Now that you have seen a God. What are you going to do?"

"I am…going to surpass you."

"Do you not fear…declaring war on me?"

"I think. Lying to you would be more hazardous for my health."

"Yeah, that part's true," Kaal stood up, "hazardous to health reminds me…."

He walked over to the bed in the centre and took a cigarette, placing it between his lips. He used the finger that he lit on fire before taking in a puff, blowing the smoke out of his lips, "What do you want?"

"The Gate to the Second Floor…how can I open it."

"Kaal…that's a bit mouthful, don't you think? Maybe I should have a Nickname? Dech got one."

"Dech…Decimo?"

"Yeah, it's nice, right? Even J has one…Jay…, which is just the pronunciation of his name. He's weird about that," He blew out smoke, thoughtfully looking in the distance.

"How about I think of one?"

"Hm…I'll wait for it."

Kaal looked at him with sewn eyes, "You are very patient. It's no wonder Jay enjoys playing games with you, but I am not them. I won't play games with you."

He picked up the brush and palette, "From the primordial time…people have sacrificed things of value to their Gods. To pray, to be saved, to be answered. Bring me a sacrifice, and I'll tell you."

Aizen put his hands inside his pocket, "In that case."

"Do you have a preference?"
