"Um, Lucia?"

"Yes?"

"Is there a problem with your flying magic?"

"Not really."

"Then why are we walking?"

Evan was confused by Lucia's request that she would carry Evan. He guessed Lucia would use her flying skill to reach the river. But, in reality Lucia didn't use her magic but instead walked.

"Don't you like going out with me?" Evan couldn't see Lucia's expression, but from the tone of her voice, Lucia was puffing her cheeks.

"Not that I don't like it, but we still have other work to do."

"So you'd rather go for a walk with that lamia girl than me?" Lucia's voice sounded angry.

"Fine, I like it. But only up to the river, okay?" Evan could sense that Lucia was envious of Liselis, and that made him choose to give in. This spoiled girl really wants to be close to her father's reincarnation.

Evan finally gave in and let Lucia hug him and pet him like a pet.

"Ah, we've arrived."
