She hated the rain. It made her remember memories she wished to forget.
Her parents died when she was 16 at the hands of the leonard family while her brother was left in a coma for 3 years
At the age of 16 right after her parents death, she had to take over the shares of her parents in Cross Ltd as the main shareholder as a minor partner in the company.
Although as a minor partner she didn't need to pay any of the liabilities or contribute to the capital anymore than what her parents already had done before they were alive.
But she was still the major shareholder of the company and CEO hence all the burdens had fallen on her.
During that time she had investigated how her parents had died and she had avenged them
But it was a very fluffing long and tedious process considering,
the fact that she had to involve herself more into the underworld than her own parents were.
And well they were already in the underworld pretty deep .
Ever since she was 4 years old she was trained in every subject in business, from commerce, accountancy to economics.
She was trained to shoot, kill, fight and to run a bussiness
And to her every bussiness as innocent as it may look to the world would not have existed if it didn't dabble in the dark arts of the underworld.
Just like her parents who dabbled in the underworld to the point she was trained when she was 4 years old to be a knowledgeable killing machine
And when they passed away
all that darkness was left on her tiny shoulders to hold, at that time she had no one,
She was left alone to carry the burden as it passed down to her
As the years went by she became cold and Heartless to others
As 3 years passed by her brother finally woke up from his coma but by that time...
There was no comming back
The happy times she spent with her parents as they taught her, played with her and praised her as a genius
Were now something she feared to even remember they were now locked in a casket with chains on it and thrown in the deep ocean with an anchor in her mind
To others she's known as the cold-hearted queen of the underworld.
Which she probably was hah!
She ran her hand through her long hair moving it to the side
as she sighed depreciately at herself
She moved out of her chair and broke the cigarette
She walked towards the door and opened it,
She started moving towards the hallways of the mansion to find Corey the butler
" Corey! Where are you?" Aina called out as she walked along the hallways
She could hear footsteps hustling towards her positions as she stopped walking and waited
Soon enough Corey appeared and said " Miss Ania, you called?"
"yes Corey I did, please tell me if you've gathered the information on the leader of the king empire, he had sent a bussiness proposal not long back and I havnt sent a reply back" Ania said to Corey
" Yes Miss Ania! Iv only been able to gather the name of the leader of the King empire and his position in the underworld" Corey said to Ania as he bowed his head slightly
Ania waved her hand and dismissed his action and instead asked him
" that's it? Just his name and position of the King empire? What happened was the information hard to investigate or was it purposely blocked." asked Ania
Corey swiped the sweat from his forehead off
" Miss Ania the information was probably blocked on purpose. "
Corey said to Ania as he began to feel nervous
" probably? " Ania scoffed
" if your going to tell me information then tell me facts not theories. Now tell me what you learnt" Ania said in a pleasantly calm and dangerous voice
" Yes Miss Ania! The name of the leader of the King empire is Darius King, and the King empire is on-par with the Queen in the underworld." Corey said as he started feelings exceptionally nervous now
Ania was suprised her eyes widened a bit but then was wiped away as killing intent and amusement replaced it
" on-par huh?" Ania said outloud as she laughed a bit
" we'll see about that when we meet for the deal." Ania said in interest as she turned to walk back to her bedroom
" thank you Corey" she told him as she started walking back
she reached her room and went to the stack off documents on her desk near the bed
She picked up the document with seal of a King's crown and quickly she read through it
'Darius King huh? ' she thought as she tapped her finger on the Desk.
