章 146: Don't Think, Just Feel

The person at the door was no other than his father, Charles and Damon had to put a smile on his face even though all he wanted to do was to punch whoever interrupted them.

"Father, I'm sorry to have left without warning but you see..." Damon didn't have to finish the rest of his statement because to his greatest surpise, his father picked him up his feet as if he were just a kid and twirled him around.

Nessa was never going to unseen this sight for the rest of her life. It was quite a shocker to see Charles carry a grown up like Damon off the ground. It was a great show of strength and she was awed nonetheless.

"Dad!" Damon was embarrassed to the core. How could his father do this in front of his mate. He wanted to hide his face from shame. 

When Charles put him down, Damon still didn't have the chance to breathe because his father slammed him into his chest and hugged him tight.
