章 129: Please Be Safe

If someone had told Damon that today would go down this way, he would have never believed it. One moment he had been schmoozing with guests and the next Naomi was strutting over to him. 

"Happy birthday Damon," She said to him and tried to kiss him on the cheeks but he didn't let her do so, knowing she was an opportunist. Moreover, Nessa could be watching and get the wrong impression. 

So his gaze moved to search for her and caught her at that moment following after Aimee. His blood chilled at that moment and his breath hitched in his throat. 

"Oh, it seems she has figured out the truth already," Naomi taunted him, chuckling evilly. That was when it dawned on him, oh no. This was Naomi's doing, she knew about the pregnancy. 

Damon tapped into the bond between them and felt it all; anger; anxiety; confusion; sorrow and lastly, disappointment. He then rushed into the restroom where everything went down and Nessa left him, amid his plea.
