There were three short beeps from the System.
The tension in Mattheus's shoulders relaxed a little, reminded that its communication skills were fairly lacking. In a way, it was already a lot of progress for it to chirp in randomly—at least when it came to signs of sentience.
The sounds were like protests or an interjection.
Mattheus sighed. "Look, can you explain what exactly Basilea's Favor is?" he asked more calmly now what it was apparent the System was paying attention. "And did you just disagree, implying the localized Quests I had to do has very much to do with the reward Basilea's Favor?"
"Huh. You got more Quests to do? And does that refer to the favor of the city, region, or goddess?" Brunilda inquired curiously.
Mattheus had forgotten to tell her, considering how discombobulated he was from the incident at the ancestral hall and actually not noticing the additions until he thought to check earlier this morning.
