Devon's eyebrows furrowed and a deep frown appeared on his face when he heard the words that had just come out of the woman's mouth.

Though he was stunned by how she figured the name he had given her in his mind, the most astonishing thing was the name which she referred herself to. Perhaps, if it was any other person, Devon wouldn't have reacted that way, but when it was coming from this woman, he felt a weird kind of vibe.

The blood in his body stirred when those words were pronounced, and even if it didn't seem too much, Devon could feel a bloodline oppression from the woman's body.

He wasn't certain she was doing it intentionally, but whatever the case might be, he proved that he wasn't someone who was going to be intimidated by any being. Devon stood up straight, glaring into the eyes of the woman, and both of them began something that could be referred to as eye confrontation.
