章 23: ~ 23: Satisfy A Desire - Part 2 ~

'What?!' my brain screamed. 'Blood brother or just namesake?'
"I'm Emanuel Crawford, his beloved cousin," he said smugly, answering the lingering question right away.
'What a well-planned trap,' I exclaimed in my head. 'I should have seen this coming.'
"How would you know whether I was the one who attacked your brother or not? It couldn't be me since I'm in the capital," I said in an oblivious tone.
"The CCTV footage came in my hands before the police took it away," he returned. "I was there to visit him, but who should I see other than my beloved officer uncles, standing around his store. I had to see the commotion for myself to believe he was caught in the act."
At that point, I realised that the rumours of such kidnappings that the police force had been trying to nab had indeed been true. The fact that some women went missing meant that these gangsters took them, used them and threw them away like trash, whether they lived or died. Without anything to live on, most of them would just die due to their complications.
And when the police had found not-very-concrete evidence of him doing his stuff in a secluded area of the town, which was later erased, the former jeweller was the talk of the town. It was erased because the statements said that the woman was the one to do it.
Now, what was to prevent me from being their next toy to dawdle with? I had stepped into the place to clear things off, but I had landed into a snare.
"I will let the two of you talk," he uttered and marched away from me. "That is before we negotiate on some terms. Nobody wants to go empty-handed here."
I was going to crawl towards Mel when a pair of arms clasped my waist and drew me away.
"Not so fast, sweety," said the voice. "We haven't finished where we left off."
"You!" I yelled, swivelling around violently. "When did they let a crap like you out of prison?!"
"I have my ways like you have yours," said the cousin. "It's no use complaining. There's nobody here to hear your pleas."
I was about to give in, finding no escape, when the two faces appeared in my head. The first being Lucas and the temporary gift he had given me. I had to use it before it was too late.
I grimaced in disgust at the idea of having to deal with the problem in this manner. Yet, having the only solution at hand, it was best to go ahead with it before such a golden chance disappeared.
"Well, then," I said in a defeated tone. "Might as well punish me for the pain I caused you."
"It'll be my pleasure to have received such an honour," he said smugly.
I pulled him by his tie so that our breaths mixed with each other. I was grossed out by the tobacco scent of his breath. I never had to deal with such a situation, far less with a disgraced human. Having to face him again was the worst nightmare I had to face in a lifetime.
"You did this kind of thing last time too," he said with a smirk. "Should I be careful of your skills or enthralled by your charms?"
"Did I now?" I asked back. "I'm sure that you, sir, were the one who had surrounded me while I had backed up against the counter."
He chuckled as he turned me around to face him completely. He pulled the collar of my shirt and hoodie, and breathed my scent in deeply while my hands supported me against the floor. It took up all my forbearance to control myself from attempting to tear his neck off.
His weight pushed me down so that I was flat on my back, clutching my sleeves tightly. His tongue licked the front of my neck. I couldn't tell which one nauseated me more — Lucas doing it or him. I shuddered from the cold and distaste that pricked my wet skin.
"Liking it already?" he hummed his question in the midst of my collar bones. "Your punishment is yet to come."
"Did you use your secret lockpick to open the door to your jail?" I asked, diverting the subject from me.
"More than that," he answered. "Keep guessing let's see where you get."
He tore off my ripped jacket and unbuttoned the shirt under it, relishing the view. I flinched when his hands caught both of mine and placed them above my head. His mouth watered and I only sat there in terror when I realised I had missed my opportunity.
"Bribed or drugged the guardians of your cell with a sweet little draught of yours?"
"Still one more thing remaining," he said in a low tone as his hands travelled down my trunk.
"Not there!" I whisper-yelled. "Please, I beg of you..."
But he had already unhooked it and touched the skin of my bottom, caressing it. Angry seized me intensely and I was going to kick him out when he caught hold of my leg. He placed it above his shoulder.
"No tricks this time. I won't let the both of you go until you have satisfied my appetite," he said and kissed my lower ribs after removing the bandages. I was in deeper trouble than I thought I would be.
"Don't tell me that you got some women to..." I trailed off.
'...Seduce them,' I finished it in my brain, in complete horror.
"Amazing, isn't it?" he asked, looking into my eyes. "It's interesting how some things come in handy when you need it."
A moan mistakenly passed my lips. I felt him trail kisses somewhere inappropriate.
"There you are," he whispered. "The ferocious little girl has become quite tame now."
I was furious at myself for acting erroneously, and at him for touching me the way he liked when I didn't belong to anybody.
And then I remembered my ultimate mission. So I let my ferocity take over and control the situation the way it wished.
