In the garden in front of the castle, a lot of people sat around the round tables arranged for them the whole garden was surrounded by blue rose bushes. Some people were laughing and chatting, while some were looking around the place. 

These people were all guests for the banquet and family members of the Tepes household. The ones who were laughing and chatting were guests from the other vampire and magical being families. They were here to watch the fun and excitement. The scanning gazes were the family members and challengers for the night. 

The crowd numbered in hundreds as Simon had told Willian earlier. Just as midnight arrived, the door of the castle sprung open with a click sound. These doors were massive. Twenty feet high and eight feet wide, carved with enchanting patterns. Willian gazed at these patterns and said, "Mum would have liked it here."
