Ezekiel, meanwhile, had just arrived at Lady Gertrude's auction event by this time. The minute he left from Briceus' sight, it became obvious to him how very enthusiastic he was to see that girl from before— that girl whom his horse had nearly crushed by the roadside during the time he was headed to go pick up the company of the Blythes.
As was expected for such an event, Zeke at present donned a rich retro-blue tailor-made suit and a tall hat. He had done this as a means to cover up his actual identity and also because he wanted to feel like he belonged with the rest of the attending guests.
The side information which that little girl, Elsa had allowed to spew out of her mouth easily — the one that pertained to a fixed auction event for the night at her boss's home, also mentioning the house owner's name… All of this put together made it very easy for Zeke to figure out the right neighbourhood where Lady Gertrude's home could be.
