"So then, is it true?" Lizzie jabbed Oletha with that question again. But this time, her voice betrayed her of her eagerness to be told by the girl that it was all a farce and that Briceus was not leaving her side any time soon. 

In truth, she was not yet certain that she would miss him if he should go on a travel as suggested by his younger brother. But she was certain of wanting their sweet mornings and exciting rendezvous to go on for much longer. She might not know how much of what it was she was feeling for that man but she could not deny how excited he caused her heart to feel whenever he came around her...

"My lady," Oletha began to say to her, "I do not think that such news should break forth from my lips. It is a matter that is best for you to talk to King Briceus about by yourself."
