章 115: What are you?

Zagan could see the shadow seconds before the lights came on and just as his hands pressed the switch, he chased after the shadow that no one could even notice that he was there seconds ago.

Outside John's house, the shadow moved as fast as possible and blended with the night but Zagan could sense its presence even in the dark.

The shadow kept moving and Zagan followed until it got to a dead end and

stopped. It dashed towards Zagan with great speed and embraced Zagan then, they both sank to the ground.

When Zagan opened his eyes, he didn't know where he was. The shadow was gone and darkness surrounded him.

He stood up and tried to strain his eyes to see but the darkness was too thick and just like the future world, not all of his powers were active.

Slowly, he began to walk using his sense of sound. He could hear the chattering of people and the clicking sound of cutleries.
