Still panting, Braylan tried to untangle himself from the sleeping bag. After a few moments of struggle, and with very little help from his shaking fingers, he was finally able to free himself fr the bag. He took another look around him. Nothing had changed in the quiet and dark room, except for the clock, which now read 4:03. There were occasional snores from his left where Samuel was sleeping peacefully. Braylan tried to search for water. He had carried a bottle of water before coming upstairs, but it was very hard for him to find it in the darkness.Apart from snoring, Samuel had a habit of sleeping in complete darkness with no bed lamps or night bulbs. This habit of his made the task of finding bottle more difficult for him. He couldn't even find his phone. He remembered keeping it next to his headside, but now when he was desperate to find it, his hands wouldn't come in contact with it.
