That scar stunned her momentarily, it was familiar in a way that she could not forget. And yet something strange about the scar made her breaths to stutter.

A distant memory greeted her, she saw herself near a lake of lotuses and there was Izekiel.

Nesrin frowned.

That was not her memory. Something like that had never happened!

All of sudden the scar vanished in the mist, Izekiel shifted and glanced back.

Nesrin froze and quickly rushed away from the scene before he can see her. She was quite skilled when it came to running, thanks to some certain incidents that greeted her in the past years.

She ignored the voice but before she can even take one step back, something warm clasped around her legs and made her stagger.

The saffron light vanished from her feet as Jeremiah stepped in front of her.
