Glamour's POV

I must have heard wrong, or my mind was definitely playing tricks on me, I mean how else would anyone explain the fact that I just heard his voice in my head?

I felt my blood drain entirely from my face and I couldn't help but stare at him with won't eyes as if I'd just seen a ghost.

However, his usual calm demeanor gave nothing away, and the way he smiled before looking back and mom and asking how they were doing would make anyone think I had just imagined the whole thing up in my head.

I know that isn't true though, I definitely heard his voice in my head so clearly that I could have sworn he spoke it out loud only I had been staring at him and his lips weren't moving and that brought I and Maya's conversations right back into my head making my eyes grow even a wider.

I wanted to tell myself that could not be the case but I knew I was only trying to save myself from the inevitable .
