William chose to change the subject, "What do you plan to do after you enter the city?"

"Finish my study," Gloria replied almost immediately. "My project is no longer here, but I still have the report in my email. As long as I can access the internet, I'll be able to continue the report."

It was then William recalled that Gloria hadn't graduated from her class at all. He smiled bitterly and patted her head. "In that case, study hard."

"How about you?"

"I'll find work."

"Oh."

"Why do you sound so nonchalant, Little Girl?"
