章 47: Planning their Needs

At last, William turned his head to look at Rozan. However, Rozan shook his head. "All I bring is only some equipment to modify and fix the camping bus in case we'll need it. Don't say that you won't need it."

"I won't say something like that," William responded. He sighed and took out the silencers. "I'll teach you two how to put on silencers. Make sure to use this when facing the Xermo as to avoid attracting them to us."

In the second police station that they visited, William and Yakov managed to find a few silencers and brought it back with them. It would be very useful when they needed to operate silently in the future.

William gave example of how to put on the silencer and then helped Gloria and Sienna to know more about the guns they picked. Yakov put the boxes containing the weapon and bullets in the camping bus, on top of the sofa.

If he had to be honest, he nearly couldn't believe that the two girls managed to clean up the entire camping bus to the point that there was nothing left here. It didn't look the same as before anymore where there were so many items lying around.

"By the way, when are we going to the mall?" Yakov asked.

William glanced out and noticed that it was already noon. They took too much time to scavenge the weapon and bullets. "Tomorrow morning."

"Got it."

"We'll also need to find other types of food," Sienna remarked and pointed to the stack of biscuits that Yakov brought out. "Even though there are variety of taste and components that made the biscuits, we won't be able to fill all of our nutrients with just biscuits and canned food."

"What do you suggest?"

"Food supplement," Sienna answered almost immediately. "We won't be able to fill all the necessary nutrients soon, but having supplements will help us. Try to find all vitamins supplement along with protein supplement."

Actually, Sienna wanted to say a few more, but she knew that the most important ones would be vitamins and protein. Eating meat would be a luxury in this situation since they couldn't go to the market anymore. And hunting by themselves inside the city would be highly impossible.

Where do they want to find the food?

Zoo?

The animals there might have been dead by now since no one was taking care of the animals anymore. The people would care more for their survival rather than some animals that was threatened.

William nodded. He should be able to find them in the mall tomorrow. While it might not be enough to fill them with everything they need, it would be able to give them enough nutrition to survive for the time being.

"What else?"

"Milk," Sienna said after a while. "Also, try to find some canned food that contains meat such as sardines or the likes. If we can have it, we'll be able to get more protein."

Yakov tilted his head. "Why not fish? There's river nearby."

The others: "…" how do you want to fish in that black water?

The rivers in the cities were already contaminated with so much dirt and trashes to the point that it was impossible for fish to live there anymore. Trying to fish in a place without fish, did he want to get trashes?

Bletak!

"Ouch!"

This time, it was Rozan who hit Yakov's head. "Young man, I think you need to learn more about geography before giving suggestions."

"What???"

It didn't take long for Yakov to realize his stupidity. The areas around this place was filled with trashes that no one took care of. Country V might be a big country, but it was still considered as developing country precisely because the development was so slow due to corruption.

He looked at the others, who were already looking at him as if he was too idiot to understand. He wanted to cry. It was just a slip of tongue!

"What else do you want me to bring from the mall?"

"If possible, I would like you to bring me some tools necessary for…"

Hearing the list of items getting longer, William rubbed his forehead. He felt as if he was going to shop for moving house rather than to fill in their necessities. He could understand when it came to the portable generator and the food since they also needed to think about their diet.

But what about the other items?

"It'll be hard to bring so many items at a time," William said after listening to their request. "I might not be able to bring everything."

"The priorities are food and food supplement."

"Understood."

Rozan moved to work on his metals again. The others couldn't help him much when it came to designing the metals or to work on it since they were unfamiliar with it. "How about finding other survivors?"

"Other survivors?" Sienna asked in doubtful tone. Was there anyone near this place who were alive?

William shook his head. "I don't have the confidence to protect all of you if there are more people. Besides, there's high chance that we'll only end up meeting with people from the gang like before again."

"How about ordinary citizen?"

"If we're lucky and meet them, I'll bring them along."

Looking at the camping bus, William knew that it still could fit a few more people. However, he didn't want to bring someone like those who were from the gang. They only knew how to exploit the situation for their own benefit.

And not everyone who gained special abilities might use it to help others as they might instead use it to threaten others.

Speaking of special abilities.

"We'll visit the hospital after we have finished our preparations," William decided. He wanted to have the test as soon as possible to be able to know whether he had special abilities or not.

Yakov blinked his eyes in confusion. "With your current strength, isn't it clear that you're also included among those who managed to increase your ability due to the virus, Will?"

"Wait, your strength increased?" Sienna suddenly turned around, her eyes shone with interest.

Seeing her gaze, William had the feeling that he should have just shut up.
