章 169: Present - 89

"Walk out the door or I will stab this knife in my neck."

Paul listened to Regina's voice as she confronted her kidnappers along with their voice.  It did not take even a second for him to guess on whose behalf those men were, they worked for his greatest enemy.

"Come on run from there." He closed his eyes and concentrated on the muffled conversation. Since he could not hear their voices so it was nearly impossible for him to make anything out other than the fact she was fighting for her life.

But he also knew if anyone could get out of his situation, it was her. He knew she would not give up no matter what.

"No!" He again heard Regina's shout before everything went silent. 

"She has been drugged." Saying that to himself he put up the call.

Right now Paul was on his private flight back, and he was almost halfway there when she called him, stuck over the ocean.

"I should have stayed."

"I should have taken her with me."
