章 1909: Begin

Rea furrowed her eyebrows when watching the incoming monsters. They came closer and closer with greater intensity.

A middle-aged man stood next to her. He was the commander that would help them in the command center.

"I think I have to go back to my post," he said while making sure that they weren't too close to them.

"Yeah. We're going to handle them according to the plan."

"Alright."

They exchanged nods before the commander returned to the control room.

"Sir, they will arrive in seven minutes," One of the staff reported.

"Tell everyone to stand by and get ready to attack." He gave the command while walking toward his position where he could monitor the battlefield.

He was holding the radio hanging on his chest.

"They will arrive in six minutes. Counting down!" Another staff member put a countdown on the monitor.
