章 79: An Escalation

Abaddon left the room after ensuring that Aisling was in a good state. He explained the room was hers, and the entire floor would not have strangers moving around. However, he would send one of the servants to help her out. 

Aisling looked around the room with a smile. Even though she was in a new place and would not have it all to herself, she already liked it more than her assigned house in the Eastern Residential District. Perhaps, she liked it because she was not alone. 

In the past, she was a typical loner. 

Even when she lived near the changeling packs in the woods, she liked her isolated cottage. She even avoided the rowdy parties they always invited her to. In the Carpathian Mountains, she was close to her teacher. She would sometimes interact with the other creatures on the mountains. 

However, she ultimately liked being on her own, so she had left that cold place to search for a life of her own.
