Nicole ran into her bedroom. She slumped on her bed, crying.

This was a mistake. She never should’ve agreed to such an offer.

She thought he was different. She was starting to see some kindness in him, but she was wrong.

She had tried to make him warm up to her after all those months of him being closed off. She even cared for him during his illness, but still he doesn’t see her as a friend.

How could she be so stupid to develop strong feelings for him.

How was she going to get him off her mind, now?

She needs to get over him. She encouraged herself after being done crying her eyes out.

Nicole stood up from the bed and went into the bathroom, to wash off the tear stain on her face.

After that, she headed downstairs and asked a maid to tell her chauffeur to get a car ready for her.
