Robert's POV I was really out of my mind when Max came. I really don't trust him now. Anyways, I was still trying my best to make it look that I was enough to fight them, with my men of course, but I really wasn't. I heard Max shouting my name, but I thought he was distracting me. Or even if I didn't think that, I didn't have time to even look at him. Many guns were finding the right time to shoot me. But then I heard a gunshot right behind me. The shot couldn't be a miss, and the gun sound confirmed that it was not our men. So, I turned around and found Max lying and that broke my heart. Did he take the gunshot for me? I was going berserk. I started firing way too fast and soon my men joined the fight. I was fast in taking down the enemies with the help of everyone. After that, I bent down.
We were standing out of the hospital and talking. It felt good. She felt at home. "Do you hate me?" I asked her suddenly. "Do I look like I hate you?" she asked. "I don't know" "I don't, " she said. I smiled. "I hope Max will be okay. I-I am so guilty and ashamed" She kept a hand on my shoulder. "He will be. After all, he has a friend like you" She sometimes sounds like an angel. Sometimes I want to give in. But I can't. How can I? After everything that happened, I can't! I can't give in once again! I can't fall for anyone! I received a call. "Okay, " I replied. "Max's operation is gonna take time. The doctor will come tomorrow and then it will take one day. So, we should go home" "Okay. Let's go"
