The fact that Miss Li stayed strong until she left meant that once she was back to her apartment, she would be crying or drowning herself in alcohol.
Even if PA Ren did not ask the CEO if his assumptions were correct, he was already on his way to buy hangover medicine for his future madam.
He sent another message to the CEO when he arrived at the apartment.
PA Ren knocked on the door and waited until the footsteps approached.
"CEO Min." He said when the door opened. The shirtless figure of his boss appeared in the doorway, surprising him.
Wasn't Miss Li drunk? Why is the CEO half-naked?

PA Ren gulped and he handed the bag containing the hangover medicine.
"CEO, do you want me to buy anything else... like an ointment--"
"Did that bastard die?"
PA Ren paled. The CEO's expression was dark as if he was expecting the news of his cousin's death.
'CEO, don't say that. Mr. Du is still your cousin...'
On the surface, PA Ren shook his head. "Mr. Du's condition has stabilized. He did not lose a lot of blood but the wound on his stomach would take a week to heal. His face is swelling. CEO, Mr. Du is also asking you for monetary compensation for the beating and he wants to charge you with attempted murder. At the moment, he is currently resting."
Min Yue clicked his tongue. He looked absolutely disappointed. "I should have stabbed harder."
PA Ren nearly choked on his saliva. CEO, please refrain from saying your murderous thoughts aloud. Mr. Du is still your cousin, is what PA Ren wanted to say but he wisely kept his mouth shut.
He wiped the sweat on his forehead using a handkerchief.
"Give him the money he wants but don't let him cause trouble."
Eventually, the CEO allowed him to leave and even said that he would be temporarily in charge tomorrow.
PA Ren was quick-witted. It meant that the CEO would stay the night here and would take care of Miss Li until morning.
In Li Ruyan's bedroom, Min Yue was leaning on the chair. He did not join Li Ruyan on the bed because he preferred to sit and watch her.
The picture of her and his cousin triggered a sense of loathing inside him and before he knew it, he had up and left Yang Shiwei, driving towards Du Tianxing's penthouse and bypassing many traffic rules.
He had PA Ren handle all of the trouble when he left.
It was not often that he made mistakes like this but when it came to Li Ruyan, he really could throw anything away.
He remembered her sobbing face that was telling him that she was dirty. Since he bathed her body earlier, he was sure that nothing happened between her and his cousin.
He was also sure that Du Tianxing would not be so suicidal that he would bed Li Ruyan when Min Yue was still alive unless he has a death wish.
While thinking about Du Tianxing's ugly mug, Min Yue's face became dark. He was suddenly surrounded by a cold and icy aura. If Li Ruyan saw this, she would call him an ice princess but the more appropriate term was an icy behemoth who was on the verge of rampage.
Min Yue inhaled deeply as he toned down his emotions.
For now, he would stay with her, and then he would worry later about how to deal with the clingy woman who kept pestering him to spend the night at the Yang family.
