In all cases, a Sha left traces on the victim, whether internally or externally, filling up the place of the body part it had stolen with Ghost Qi. It seemed to be a characteristic they abided by. Just based on the traces left in the victim, it was possible to reverse deduce the type of Sha that had inflicted it.

Mu'Tua had treated 10 victims of the Blinded Ghost. They all had their eyes stolen by it. Replaced in their eyes was a black mist that acted like a liquid. It didn't do anything apart from existing there peacefully.
