The Second Chance

Mo Roulan was by Lin Qianru's side and scrolling across the interview advertisement of some companies when she received a call from Cheng Yang.

She frowned as she wondered if she should answer the call or not.

In the past two years, she had tried her best not to give any sign to Cheng Yang that could make him feel that they could be together again. She had regretted very badly when she had hurt him once and she would never do it again.

Mo Roulan had learned that it was difficult for her to move on and she had also accepted the fact that she would have to live alone all her life.

Actually she wanted nothing except her family and some peace.

Mo Roulan thought a lot and didn't pick the call but she was forced to do otherwise sometime later when Cheng Yang continued to call her.

Sighing, she slid the screen to answer the call and left the room.
