The next morning, Lin Qianru was feeling much better but Mo Roulan still didn't let her make breakfast and did everything on her own. 

Looking at her daughter doing all the chores, Lin Qianru's heart ached as she thought about how she would have to manage everything alone after a few months. 

With a heavy heart, she left the apartment to go to Chi Mansion. 

On her way to the bus stop, a car suddenly stopped. Lin Qianru was about to walk past when the window of the car lowered and a middle-aged man suddenly called out. 

"Miss Lin"

Lin Qianru halted and looked at the man in confusion. 

Did she know him? 

It was only a few moments later, she remembered that she seemed to have seen this man. He was the father of the young chef, Shuixuo whom she had helped while working as a waiter in the restaurant.
