章 124: Breaking A Record

Jasmine felt as though her entire body was being dissected. She groaned feeling a throbbing pain in her head. As she struggled to open her eyes, she swore inwardly. What happened to her?

When her lids finally peeled off from each other, she quickly shut them back again. The room was too bright for her. She groaned again in annoyance this time.

Jay who just walked into the room stood still for a moment. He then rushed towards the bed and helped her sit up. Her eyes were shut tight and the displeasure was evident on her face.

He looked around and discovered the beaming rays of light from the chandelier above their heads. He walked towards the switch and turned it off before turning the bedside lamp on.

It was only then that she opened her eyes again. Her emerald orbs shone with a wildness that was never there before. She had a more mature and profound look in her eyes.
