Mother's fate
The scene in front of him was clearly the entrance into the Watt's estate, the appearance was almost identical to how it was when he visited during the tea party. The main difference was the time of day, it seemed to be almost dusk, and the streetlights looked to have only just started turning on.
Arthur noticed movement down the street, a group of shadowy figures had started scaling the fence, and it seemed as though they had done so in a blindspot, as the security guard on duty failed to notice them.
Arthur, in his strangely ethereal form, began floating in the direction of the figures, his body passing effortlessly through the fence as he quickly closed the distance between him and the trespassers.

TechnexGames Hello everyone. I hope you've all had a great new years and that 2024 has been treating you well.
I'll be honest with you all, It has been very hard picking up this story again lately. Every time I try to do so, it keeps getting pushed back, and now here we are 4 months since the last chapter.
I'm genuinely sorry to everybody who has been following the story for a while, these wait times must be incredibly frustrating to deal with.
I'm not able to promise anything, but I'd very much like to post more than 5 chapters this year.
I'd also like to give a special shoutout to dmacrulz, who as far as I can tell, has effectively been voting on this story almost every day, even without any updates for months.
