He sighed several times throughout the conversation, reflecting on how foolish the original Joon-won had been. He couldn't appreciate the good family that many people, including him, lacked. He learned about the problems his household was facing, and it was serious if even a high schooler, with crucial exams approaching, felt compelled to take matters into her own hands.

He couldn't discuss this with Min-Seok, who would likely deny it and bear the entire burden on his shoulders as he always had. Min-Seok had worked tirelessly as a single father to keep the family afloat and provide education for both of them.
