章 451: True Wealth Is Such A Luxury Only Attained By Those Who Are Not Afraid To Take Risks

Mr. Denver's laughter erupted as Sofia got inside his office. The old man gestured for Sofia to take a seat while he extended his other hand to grab his checkbook from the side of his desk.

"Mr. Denver, your mood is quite hyper?" Sofia joked while watching the old man tear off the cheques one after another. "Is it normal to be this happy?"

The man was not deterred by Sofia's words. The grin on his face even grew wider. "Why? It sure is not abnormal. Of course, I am happy! To think that I could lend you money in this life. It sure feels great! Hehehe... And it's good that you have come personally to take the cheques. I must ask what are you up to all of a sudden for you to need such amount of money?" 

"I'm planning to buy some company shares or stocks... make some investments here and there," Sofia answered calmly. By then, Mr. Denver handed her the cheques while she was writing her signature on the contract as a borrower.
