We are a successful family. And you? Hehe..." the man purposely trailed his words while facing Sofia with a subtle smirk on his face. He did not need to finish what he wanted to say. It could easily be implied by his tone.

"You defend the girl because you are like her. But what potential do you have? A commoner. " Mrs. Zhang added.

"Mom! Dad!" Clark called them. He wanted to say something. But there were no words to express his emotions. He could only call his parents and hope for them to act like the decent professionals they usually do.
