章 29: Glee

Rachel couldn't argue any longer. She sighed in defeat and turned to head out of the office.

"Schedule a meeting with Abigail tomorrow. We'll discuss proceedings. By then I'll officially head your department." Gabriel got up from his table and headed back to his seat. He turned his chair back to face the window-wall, gazing into the cityscape. Rachel watched him sit before leaving the office herself.

Gabriel's phone vibrated on the table. He picked it up to read a message sent to him from his twelve year old daughter which read; #Don't forget our date dad#. 

"Yeah child, I know." He then closed his eyes, and got lost in his thoughts.
