West and I served detention for three days, after which coach made me return to library duty. Mia scheduled a long talk with me after school today about fights in school. Mr. Tyler didn't say anything to me but it was visible that he was disappointed in me.

To top things off, Diana refused to return any of my texts. I peered at my phone all night long waiting for her to reply to my texts. She was making this hard and my fault, she didn't give me a chance to apologize or explain myself. She jumped to conclusions without even listening to my side of the story.

I had seven more days till I had to choose, and Diana's cold-hearted attitude is making me edge towards the offer.

School closed, which meant I could push everyone out of the library now. The librarian quit his job all of a sudden and I've become a very convenient replacement.

I heard someone's voice from behind a shelf, it was Brent, I stood close to listen.
