章 103: Earning Her Trust

In the past few days,  Mr. M kept on communicating with Samantha as if he was courting her. They often talked at night, calling her until past midnight.

Samantha's impression of him changed since the night he rescued her against those street thugs. 

Little did she know, those thugs were hired by Mr. M to scare Samantha so that he would come to her rescue. Viola! He became a hero and a knight in shining armor in Samantha's eyes.

It was part of Mr. M's scheme to be closer to her and gain her trust. He also got one important advantage after being close to her.

He could get information from Samantha about Renz's and Selene's wedding preparations. With this, he could closely monitor them. He already had a concrete plan of how Micaela would come into the picture, thus meeting Renz.

Though he wanted Micaela for himself, he had to use her as bait for Renz. This was the only way to stop the marriage between Selene Anderson and Renz Chuo.
