章 118: What To Do

Apryl stared at the door as she tried to slow her breathing down. Her mind raced as she tried to figure out what she should do next. 

This had been the second time Brian had been so hostile towards her for reasons that he wouldn't tell her. This was worse than the first time. He had pretty much locked her out of the house. 

That didn't bother her as much as what was going to happen to her family did. What should she say to Lydia? The female werewolf closed her eyes as she tried to get her heart rated calmed down so that she could properly think about what she should do next. 

She could sense that Houston must have been around somewhere nearby but not likely moving out of risk of being spotted. She couldn't risk talking to him right now either. Her aunt was still with the rest of her family and she might ask questions if she came out while Apryl was talking with an unfamiliar werewolf.
