章 148: D-don't Leave Me… A-Aly

Alyssum decided to go home with the groceries she bought. She stepped inside and noticed Chance hadn't come back. 

She placed the groceries on the floor and started organizing the refrigerator. She hummed happily and glimpsed from the color of the groceries. 

Consequently, she didn't notice a person opening the door and walked freely inside the apartment. She sighed in relief when finishing organizing the fridge. 

"Okay, all set. I need to cook our dinner." She uttered and stood up. 

Her eyes locked on Chance, who was leaning against the wall and drew a smile from his face. Her mood glistened and pleased to see him. 

She walked towards him but she didn't expect what happened. His eyes closed and almost fell on the floor. 

"CHANCE!" She exclaimed and ran closer to him. 

Alyssum caught him in time. She gasped when feeling his burning body. She touched his forehead and he was very hot.
