And as he was on the road, his heart fell to his chest and his legs quivered when a woman crossed the road without looking around. "Sh*t!" 

Her eyes widened and sat on the floor when she realized what happened. He panicked and got out of the car. 

"Oh my! Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asked and helped her to stand. 

She sighed in relief, realizing that she was alive. She responded with a nod, reassuring that she was okay. 

"Thank goodness. I thought I hurt you." He took a deep breath to relax. 

They were both shocked by what happened. He just scratched his nape in embarrassment. 

"I-I'm sorry. I didn't look at the road." She finally said. 

He smiled and responded with a nod. 

 "It's fine, you don't have to apologize. I'm also at fault here. I didn't see you cross the road. But please, next time— look where you walk. By the way, I'm Chance."
