When Jasmine joined them at the patio with her parents tailing behind her, Dairon checked the time and realized that she had used up ten minutes. Not a second more.
"You sure keep time." He was amused. Did she have a clock in her system that warned her when time was up? She didn't have a clock on her.
She shrugged and planted herself beside her sister. "I wasn't going to give you the satisfaction of forcefully interrupting our conversation in the name of having to leave." She smiled, her eyes practically yelling that she had won this round. As though it was a contest of sorts.
"Don't make it sound like I'm so evil, flower." He laughed when he felt Harry's gaze on him. Great. Now her father definitely thought that he was bullying his daughter.
"I can give you a few more minutes if you want. It won't hurt to be slightly later than planned." He offered.
