章 38: Chapter 38 Can't Hide Anything From Mama Lisa

My hands tense onto my lap as I slowly wipe of the blood from my face, I close my eyes and give up throwing the cotton pad into the sink. I hear soft knocks from the door, my eyes dart up and Matteo enters the toilet. "Here let me." He whispers, his hands grabbing a small towel as he damps it with warm water. He turns to face me as he gently caresses my cheeks with the towel.

"I'm sorry." He says, but this entire time I couldn't look him in the eyes. I really couldn't. But there was something in my heart, something deep down that wanted to get this tension all over with but my gut said that he deserved the treatment he was getting. He softly taps my forehead as I his grabbing his wrist.

"Careful." I said removing my hands, he nods his head as he tends to my face. He throws the towel and grabs small plasters from the draw of the bathroom. He slowly peels of the bits that were not needed as he sets it onto my forehead and cheeks, then came my nose.
