章 33: Chapter 33: Titan Ape
Seeing this, Tang San felt his heart become cold. With how strong the Titan Giant Ape is, as long as it grips a little harder, Xiao Wu will die, no matter how soft and flexible she is.
"No! Let go of Xiao Wu!"
Tang San's eyes suddenly became scarlet, he jumped from tree to tree that were beside him to reach the Titan Giant Ape's height, when he did, he began to fire his Hidden Weapons at the Ape's eyes.
The eyes are one of the few weaknesses of the Titan Giant Ape. Although Tang San is angry, he hadn't let it cloud his judgement. As for the Titan Giant Ape, it simply closed its eyes and was successfully able to block the Hidden Weapons.
"Brother Fan, Please help me." Tang San said, before he chased the Ape.
The Titan Giant Ape and Zeng Xin were both very fast, after just a few breaths, their figures disappeared in the vast number of towering giant trees.
Regardless of its huge body, the Titan Giant Ape was surprising flexible and very fast. No matter what obstacles appeared before it, it didn't slow down and was able to dodge them all.
Xiao Wu, who was originally held by the Titan Giant Ape's hands, was now sitting on its shoulders. As the Ape moved, she remained stable on its shoulders and didn't fall off nor feel the slightest bumps.
"Er Ming, stop moving, stop here." Xiao Wu said worriedly.
The huge body of the Titan Giant Ape stopped, it squatted down, letting Xiao Wu come down from its shoulders, it was very gentle in fear of hurting Xiao Wu.
Zeng Xin finally caught up with Titan Age as he landed beside Xiao Wu.
"Xiao Wu, do your thing fast. Tang San is worried for you." The Titan Giant Ape stared at Zeng Xin while he was talking with Xiao Wu.
"Brother Fan, This… I..."
"Don't worry, Xiao Wu. I know about you. I don't have any enmity with you being a transformed Spirit Beast and I won't tell anyone."Zeng Xin glanced at the Titan Giant Ape who was in shock.
"Brother Fan, Thank you very much." Xiao Wu was afraid but calmed down. Zeng Xin smiled at him. He don't know why but he feels a little different around her. It like a familiar atmosphere he feels around his mother.
"You should smile more. You look more handsome when you smile."
"I will try but no one seems to talk with with me. I always try to talk with them but they just look angrily at me after that." Zeng Xin sighed.
"Brother Fan, how did you know that I am a Spirit Beast?" Xiao Wu asked.
"I have a special ability, it enabled me to see you for who you truly are." Zeng Xin lied, he then smiled: "Do you find it strange why I didn't kill you to obtain your Spirit Ring and Spirit Bone?"
"Yeah." Xiao Wu nodded, she clearly knew the allure a 100,000-year Spirit Bone and Spirit Ring has to humans.
"Because you have the same aura as my mother" Zeng Xin smiled.
"Really, is she also a spirit beast?" Xiao Wu bewilderedly asked.
"I don't know but it won't matter if she is?" Zeng Xin said seriously.
"Hmm… Can I call you by your first name?" Xiao Wu smiled.
"Hmm" Zeng Xin nodded.
"Okay now, go and condense your ring." Zeng Xin commented.
"Then I and this big guy will help protect you." Zeng Xin said. The Titan Giant Ape gave a low growl. Its growl wasn't loud, but it was able to spread out far and wide, at least 1 km. The surrounding Spirit Beasts became scared and fled their territory rapidly.
Xiao Wu got ready to condense her Spirit Ring, she found a boulder and sat cross-legged on it. She pinched her delicate fingers and pointed her right palm upwards whilst was placed flat on her thigh, her left hand was placed erect on her chest. She began to say a series of strange sounds.
With this strange sound, Xiao Wu's eyes gradually turned scarlet, two circles of Yellow Spirit Rings appeared quietly, they were moving around her body whilst rotating, at the same time a huge shadow gradually formed behind her, it was her Martial Spirit Soft Bone Rabbit.
A faint red light gradually spread from Xiao Wu's body. As time went by, the red light became stronger and stronger, making it look like blood.
The intense red light gradually became Purple, as time passed, the Purple colour formed a Ring, a Spirit Ring.
The Purple Spirit Ring landed on Xiao Wu's body. At first, it didn't coordinate with the other two Spirit Rings, but as the red light strengthened, the Purple Spirit Ring gradually stabilised.
At the same time, the Soft Bone Rabbit phantom behind her became much clearer after the Spirit Ring appeared.
Xiao Wu opened her eyes, and a red light flashed in them before completely disappearing.
"Er Ming, I'm going back, tell Da Ming I said hello." Xiao Wu informed the Ape.
The Titan Giant Ape nodded, it didn't say anything, it seemed that they were communicating in a way that was unique to Spirit Beasts.
"Brother Lin, Lets go." Xiao Wu asked Zeng Xin.
Zeng Xin and Xiao Wu shuttled through the forest. In order to protect Xiao Wu from potential threats, Zeng Xin deliberately slowed down.
"Brother Lin, will you go back to your cold attitude after going back?" Xiao Wu asked suspiciously.
"It's not that I like it but I just don't know how to talk with others. " Zeng Xin said.
"Brother Lin, You are better when you talk and smile, you know" Xiao Wu said.
Using his strong Mental Power, Zeng Xin was able to quickly locate Zhao Wuji and the group after briefly utilising it. Currently, they were gathered around Tang San, obviously they were protecting and monitoring Tang San absorbing his Spirit Ring.
"Who?" When Zeng Xin and Xiao Wu approached the group, Zhao Wuji was soon able to detect them using his Spirit Power. He quickly looked in the direction he felt footsteps coming from.
Tang San who was absorbing his Spirit Ring was in a critical moment, if he was disturbed his Spirit Power could run rampant killing him in the process. Thus, Zhao Wuji was taking his protection very seriously and was not going to allow anyone to disturb him.
