章 43: Why Are They Here?
Five days from their scheduled club outing, Sakura was feeling inexplicably hyper than her normal self just by merely thinking about it.
This would be her first time hanging out with actual friends! Though she had been with his ex-best friend before, that bastard Ryuuji didn't really include her as part of their social circle.
Instead, Ryuuji treated her as a social outcast, hiding her away from the rest of the students and not letting them know about their secret fake relationship that they have all planned out to humiliate her in the end.
Aarrrgh! Enough of thinking that scumbag already! This is the perfect time to be happy!
If she's not yet tired later on when she goes home from work, Sakura plans to have a hearty video call with her parents back in Kyoto and tell her everything that's happened to her these past few days. The last time she did that was way back before classes had even started.
With a settled mind, Hayashi Sakura pushed the door of their classroom open and immediately saw Mori Ken seated lazily on his seat with his head casually placed on his hand. His meaningful gaze was staring straight in the door's direction.
Upon seeing Sakura entering, Mori Ken immediately sat up straight and pretended to be busy as he turned away from the door at a lightning speed.
He couldn't let it make it so obvious that he has been staring and waiting at the door for more than twenty minutes now! That would be too humiliating on Ken's part, wouldn't it?
On the other hand, Sakura seems unfazed by it even a bit and kept her straight face as she walked towards her seat next to Ken. They had two subjects where they were classmates and got to see his annoying face: Fundamentals of Accounting class and Math.
Only after then can Sakura keep her cool when he is not around anymore.
"Yo."
At this point, Ken seems not quite sure if it is best to greet the girl casually, thus settling for this two-letter word instead of the usual way of greeting normally.
With furrowed eyebrows, Sakura greeted back, "Err.. Hi?"
After that, Sakura had completely ignored the guy beside her and settled down in her seat. As this awkward tension kept going around between them, Sakura almost thank the heavens for Nakano Yuna and Tanaka Ryo's presence that are now heading towards their direction.
Enthusiastically, Yuna greeted both of them. "Good morning, you two."
"Good morning." both Sakura and Ken greeted in a toneless voice then refrained from talking after that.
Yuna furrowed her eyebrows. What's with these two? Are they in a lover's quarrel or something?
Wait, aren't they even a couple yet?
"Say, Sakura, let's go shopping at the mall afterward. Just you and me. Or we can also probably invite your club president later on. What do you say?"
Sakura went blank for a while as she heard the word 'shopping' from the girl's mouth.
Honestly, she hasn't been out shopping with anyone else other than his mother before.
"Shopping?" Sakura repeated in disbelief.
"Yes, shopping! For the club outing, duh!" Yuna eyed the girl knowingly, assuming Sakura had already forgotten about their outing.
In case you're all wondering, Ito-san mentioned during their club meeting that they can bring certain friends along the outing with a minimum of two friends each club member provided that they have the club president's approval first and were included on the list.
Since Alan already met these two guys back in their apartment, Yuna and Ryo are considered invited to the book club outing right away. Theirs were never held yet.
"Since we're going to one of Alan's resort, might as well buy swimwear for the upcoming trip, right?"
By the mention of the word 'swimwear', both Ryo and Ken were stunned to their places. They could already picture these two girls in their two piece as they merrily ran off to the beach and went swimming, their breasts bouncing back and forth as they moved.
As if she could sense these two men imagining something lewd inside their heads, Yuna eyed them warily, rolled her notebook swiftly, and gave each of them a good whack in their heads.
Both boys were immediately sent back to reality and rubbed the part where Yuna hit just now.
"Ouch! What was that for?!" Ryo whined.
"Yeah, what was that for?" Ken echoed.
"That's for you being so perverted! Geez, boys will always be boys no matter what!"
Sakura is not sure if she completely understands what is currently going on around her, but she can't help but laugh at herself seeing both of these boys' whining faces towards Yuna's direction.
At the mention of Alan's resort, Watanabe Rin's group of friends can't help but chatter about that, making Rin herself so jealous her glaring eyes could almost murder someone right here and then.
How could that loser Sakura be invited to that high-end gathering with all other socialites in their country but not her?
Surely, there's gotta be a way to be one of that loser club's members… right?

After classes, Sakura and Yuna decided to meet up with Ito-san in the clubroom first before they could officially have their get-together at the mall later on.
The boys, for that matter, were strictly not allowed to join them in their today's endeavor, making Ryo throwing a fit earlier in the classroom after classes.
["Fine. We'll also have our own get-together!" Ryo bellowed, his finger raised and pointed at Yuna's direction. "Just wait and see. We'll be enjoying ourselves without you guys!"
Yuna nonchalantly looked at his childish fiance' figure as he dragged Ken with him and went out of here.
"What a brat he truly is…" She sighs and smacks her forehead with her palm.]
Along the way, Yuna can't help but ask, "Why do we need to meet her there when we can just meet at the school gates, right?"
"I don't know either. Maybe she has something to take care of, I guess?" Sakura only puckered her forehead and looked confused as well.
But even it's a bit confusing, they followed Yui's request and met her at the clubroom.
However… Once they were both there, Sakura and Yuna's mouths literally almost dropped at the sight of three familiar girls that they didn't expect to be here in the first place.
Sakura's brows hunched together. Why… it's none other than Watanabe Rin and her little clique of mischievous friends!
"Oh, you're here already!" Yui said in delight without minding their surprised reactions. "Surprisingly, three of our members had suddenly dropped their membership from our club. But it was still fortunate to easily find three replacements for them!"
Sakura hunched her eyebrows together. As far as she knows, they are already a part of Drama Club.
Why are they here now?!
