After a carefully studied delay, Chief Temük appeared at the door of his yurt, accompanied by who was undoubtedly his wife. The Khan wore a blue sash at the waist, and had a cap made of the same fabric as the tunic with a blue velvet lining. His boots were lined on the outside with black fabric exquisitely embroidered with scrolls of gold thread.
