"Well, even though the extras didn't all arrive on set at the same time, it's certain that they weren't here when Tan Mo joined us. What's more, she only showed up here once on the first day of shooting," Tan Jinqi said as he drew a circle with his finger on the table and pointed to the middle of it. "That's why we can cut down the number of suspects to just those who were present on day one."

"But, those who joined later could also have heard about it from other people, right? Or people might talk about it?" the assistant asked.

"No," Tan Jinqi shook his head. "The only people who were here on the first day were the main and supporting actors. They are all famous people. Do you really think they would even bother talking to those playing a minor character or an extra?"
