章 101: Approval

In the Grand Hall thirteen men and women in magic robes could be seen sitting in a round semi-circular setting. This wasn't all the Elders and Arch Mages in The Phantom. Some were either busy or out on a mission, some might even be having classes at the moment.

It wasn't a must to be present, besides the message read ...All FREE Elders and Arch Mages... So if one is not free there is no need to be there. Besides whatever will be processed to be approved will still be denied approval anyway, so why bother?

"Alchemist Erin, you have called for such an important meeting that many have come. I hope that whatever it is will not be a waste of our precious time." one of the Elders said once everyone has settled.

"I promise you seniors, Elders. I have no reason to be willingly punished for something like this. I have with me some new potions..." alchemist Erin started to calm the annoyed minds of these seniors.

"Again!"

"How many times will..."

"Don't tell me I came out here for..."

"Why am I wasting my..."

Clamours immediately went down when they heard the same thing coming from the same person for the third time.

"LET HIM FINISH!!" Belti who stood together with Arch Magus Nes and Valery increased his voice with the Lightning element to make his voice sounds like thunder in the enclosed place.

A few of the Arch Mages who found out the person that did that wanted to shout at Belti, however, they stopped when they saw him sitting with two powerful Elders by his side. If they didn't say anything, why should they? It was at this moment they took in what was presented to them.

"Well then Erin, since you've successful brought us here, what is it you wanted to show us that needs approving?"

"Thank you seniors." Erin bowed before his senior then continued, "I have with me here three bottles of mind blowing potions. This is called the Consumable Lotion. At this moment we are still putting it as a basic healing potion but I believe that after this demonstration you'll put it in its rightful place."

"Why do you call it a 'Consumable Lotion' when it's a potion?" one of the Arch Maga present asked.

"This lotion, just like the name implies means that it can both be drunk and applied on the skin." Erin explained.

"Is this 'lotion' safe for testing? You of all people should know the desperate situation we're in. Temporary boost are good but they're side-effects are nothing to laugh about." Arch Magus Shanks who is also an Elder said, he still had his ever messy hair. It is known that Elder Shanks is an alchemist himself.

"I assure you that this lotion is safe for use, I myself have used it on my body... and there are no side-effects."

Right after Erin's voice descended another clamour followed. A potion with no side-effects? Erin must be kidding if such a thing even in the basic level exists.

Belti had his purple eyes almost falling out of his head when he heard this. If such a thing should work...? 'Hah! How many time should I be surprised by you?' Belti thought to himself. He then remembered the second message he got earlier...

[Belti, your boy will be at the meeting. You cannot bounce this call.]

The Grand Hall became quiet again when Erin took a beautifully curved dagger from the table for all to see. Once he got everybody's attention he ran the dagger through the length of his arm. Blood spilt on the floor but it didn't matter.

Waiting so they saw that the wound wasn't fake, he took the bottle with a light green goo from the tables and took a sip from it. When those in the high table saw this they wanted to watched how a sip of a basic healing potion would heal what an entire bottle of normal healing potions would normally do.

However, right before their very eyes they watched how a ten inch long cut closed up in less than ten seconds after consumption.

(AN: The reason why the potion took long to work before was because Erin didn't direct where the potion should do it's work, allowing it to make stops along its way by healing his other older injuries first. Secondly, now that he has ever taken the Consumable Lotion, he doesn't have any other injury for the potion to delay.)

If clamours was what happened before, now is pandemonium! Every Arch Mage be they Elders or not all stood to their feet. Erin felt like he was inside a swimming-pool filled of murky waters. This is what multiple Mindpowers feels like.

They all sent their Mindpower to check on Erin's arm. It was unbelievable what they saw, a spotless arm saved from any scar. Questions began flying in from different angles. Many were happy for this new discovery.

"SENIORS!" Erin had to increase his voice after calling but not receiving a reply. "I want to make sure that you and I all know that this potion is much more powerful than a simple basic level potion. If I'm not wrong, this should be an Intermediate-level potion, maybe even more."

"Erin, I do not disagree that it can be classified as an Intermediate-level potion but, you should know that the body of a mage isn't the same as an Arch Mage's. I can tell that this potion can work even better for an Unspoken." Elder Uzor, HOD of the Ice Element department said.

"That is true Elder Uzor. Well then, we can see there are two more bottles before us, what do they hold?" said another Arch Maga.

"Very well, the second potion here is called Mind Accelerator. This potion allows the brain to witness accelerated thinking for one minute once everyday. This potion goes in sync with the body, so that you don't have a faster mind with a slow body." Erin explained the function of the second bottle holding a yellow liquid inside.

"What the hell?"

"Are you kidding me?"

"How is this possible?"

"Am I dreaming or what? Where has such potions been all these time?"

If Erin was an inbox, he would have filled up already with the numerous numbers of questions coming from one person alone much less all thirteen of them.

"Erin, you have to explain why you've kept such helpful and essential resources from the school all this time. You know how hard things are against our enemy, yet, you decide to bring this only now."

"Tifu is right, if it was the resources that had kept them waiting, why didn't you say anything that could have boosted the speed of production?" another Arch Mage asked.

"Elders, seniors to this very question please I humbly ask that I finish with the last potion and I promise to answer this very question you ask." getting nods from them he continued. "Thank you. The last potion on the table is a very helpful potion for those about to experience breakthrough, or are out on missions, or going into Comprehension. It is known that in wizardry we all survive with the power of the elements, but when these powers are used continuously the energy used to sustain the body diminished. This makes us to go back to the ways of normies. Many of us would know that hunger is also a reason why Spellcasters get distracted when having breakthroughs. This here is a potion that makes the consumer to not feel hunger for five days straight." Erin stopped. There was nothing he would have to say after all his speech.

"Erin, if this is your way to exploit the school, I will not allow it." Elder Nes sat up saying. His aura bore down on Erin.

"I... I assure you Elders, I am not trying to exploit any of you nor the school. To tell you the truth, these potions only came to me this morning..." murmurs were heard all around as they tried to understand the situation.

"What do you mean they came to you? Potions don't fly." Arch Magus Tifu chided.

"...No, no they don't. I wasn't the one who made these potions... yes, that's true. Each and everyone of them was made by one of my students, it is also the reason why Magus Belti is in our midst right now. The student who brought... no, who made these potions is called Benjamin Williams."
