"NingNing?" Gu YuChen called out.

"Yeah, I'm here," came a soft lyrical voice.

Gu YuChen heaved an audible sigh, "Good. I thought you'd left."

"Ah? No. No. I just...I couldn't understand the question at first, to be honest. Em… so are you referring to when I had promised to visit you guys?" Su Ning asked with uncertainty. So, she continued to blabber on, "Cause I really intended to go. I was planning to surprise you and JinYan-ge but the incident happened. I even got my passport already!"

"..." 'NingNing is really highly excitable,' thought Gu YuChen.

"No.. that's not what I meant," he finally said but it appears the girl didn't hear him."
