Becoming a card demigod was not straightforward as breaking through from one realm to another. Even if one had a Diamond grimoire and broke through from Card Emperor to Card Demigod realm, they would not be considered as a Card Demigod but be called as half step Demigod or False Demigod. 

To become an actual Card Demigod having a high Active soul control parentage and Diamond Grimoire was not enough. One had to construct their divinity to be called an actual Card Demigod. Creating a divinity was complex, and many card apprentices who had reached the card demigod realm failed to construct or were stuck constructing their divinity. Therefore they are termed as False Demigods or Half-step Demigods.
