“You are leaving with no other option, Sneha,” I said.
“So, what is the only option you are left with?” she asked in return.
“I guess we should end this right away,” I replied.
“What does that mean?” she asked vaguely.
“I mean, I think you should leave now,” I replied.
“So you called me to humiliate me, right?” she asked in rage.
“No, no, that’s not true. I just wanted to talk to you. I told you I didn’t mean to hurt you, but I also can’t do this” I tried to calm her down.
“You are leaving me for a girl whom you are not even in love with, right?” she asked in the same tone.
“I am not leaving you, Sneha; it is your decision, not mine,” I replied.
“Now you are blaming me for everything, huh?” she asked. It was getting impossible to make her understand.
“No one is blaming anyone here; it is you who doesn’t want to continue our talk, not me, isn’t it?” I cross-questioned.
“What is so special in her that you can’t find in me?” she asked while ignoring my question.
