章 85: Kill
Meanwhile, Min Mingye was raging.
"You rude punk! How dare you call me old man? Who is an old man? I am only 31!" Min Mingye shouted, pointing a finger at Lu Jingren.
Time stood still. Lu Jingren's eyes locked on the index finger between his eyes. His lips that were in a flat line frowned. He exhaled very slowly, his breath was so cold that it was visible to the naked eye, like smoke from a cancer stick.
He waved his hand.
Ice that was crystal blue erupted from the ground, the sharp and heavy tip assaulted Min Mingye, piercing his chest and passing through skin, flesh, and tissues, hitting a few vital organs in the process.
Blood bloomed from the stabbed wound and the man coughed up a lot of red liquid, his river of life flowing out of him at an alarming speed, eyes widening when he realized that he was completely caught off guard by the sudden attack from the other party.
The ice movement was way too fast for him to intercept or block against it because he was not able to tell that Lu Jingren was on a much higher level than him. Min Mingye's hands and legs twitched for a few seconds as his body dangled in the air.
Although the weather was extremely hot outside, the ice on the ground stayed firm, completely solid while the man that had been pierced like a doll, hung limply, unable to retort when death had consumed him, faster than he had expected.
There was silence for a while.

Zhang Youji trembled when he saw this. His already wide eyes had widened even more after witnessing this swift murder. Right, it would be odd if there was nothing wrong with the handsome big brother. The eerie silence of his thoughts was comfortable at first but in the split second that the older man pointed their index finger, Zhang Youji heard one single sound. That one single sound was a combination of four letters that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up to attention.
"Kill."
For a moment, he stopped breathing, feeling all the blood draining from his face. Zhang Youji was very still, his dark eyes staring at the lifeless corpse whose eyes were devoid of any signs of life.
This was not the first time he saw one but no matter how many times he saw it, it still made his heart thump rapidly against his chest. His thin legs felt soft and it must have been because of fear that he was able to remain quiet and still in place.
The single word that passed through the big brother's mind which leaked onto him kept repeating inside his head like a mantra with a binding spell, keeping him from moving.

Lilian Mo was silent.
That move was fast. It was too fast for Lu Jingren to only be at Level two. While his strength and decisiveness were admirable, this side of him was the reason why she was hesitating.
This was why she could not leave Mu Qingqing in his group.
He didn't even blink when he killed the man infront of Zhang Youji, a child no older than ten. That only says just what kind of person he is. As a person that had fought for nearly half a decade during the apocalypse in her previous life, Lilian Mo did not have any psychological burden when killing people but she was also not so cruel that she would immediately kill people that had spouted a few words of nonsense. At most, she would ignore them or break one of their limbs if they continue pushing her.
But Lu Jingren was not her.
He did things in his own way. It was really a miracle that she was able to stand being with him for three years even if the circumstances of their relationship were forced due to their engagement.
Compared to her, Fu Yangzhu and the others weren't the least bit surprised when they saw this.
"Tch. That guy was really rude. If he points that rudely, of course, the Boss would get mad." Fu Yangzhu said while shaking his head.
Mu Qianmo sighed. "Yangzhu, although the Boss did that. You still have to mind your temper."
"What are you saying, Brother Qian? If some rude old man shouted at me, insulted me, and even rudely pointed a finger at me when I was being so nice and telling them to get lost in a nice way, I would have done the same and killed the guy!" Fu Yangzhu argued.

There was really no use in arguing with the brat when it came to the Boss.
This Fu Yangzhu sometimes acted like a brainwashed fool who always regarded anything and everything that the Boss did as standards for living so when the Boss does something extreme, he'd act like a fanatic, praising and mimicking what the Boss did.
In a way, it seemed funny but in reality, it was going to prove to be an obstacle when this guy grows older since the Boss' actions aren't always righteous.
